Refer a Friend Program Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: Offer is valid for the selected accountholder referenced in this email and may not be transferred. Accountholder at FedChoice Federal Credit Union must be in good standing with an open and active status at the time of the referral eligibility to qualify and receive the gift card incentive. Referred person(s) must be at least 21 years old and meet eligibility requirements to qualify for the incentive. Engaging in the referral program implies your consent to share that you're a FedChoice Federal Credit Union member with your referred friend.

How the Program Works: This offer is valid for referrals made between October 15, 2025 - December 31, 2025. Qualified FedChoice Federal Credit Union accountholders are eligible to receive a $50 gift card. Each eligible referral is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. By a referral completing eligibility requirements, qualified FedChoice Federal Credit Union accountholders will receive a $50 gift card reward and the referred friend will receive a $50 gift card reward. The referred friend must not be an existing member of FedChoice Federal Credit Union.

The accountholder must enter in their friend’s full name and email address within the subsequent FedChoice Federal Credit Union Refer a Friend program landing page. After submitting, your friend will receive an email notification informing them of your referral to FedChoice Federal Credit Union. The email will detail the eligible referral action(s) needed to be completed by your referred friend for qualification. The friend must complete the eligible referral action listed below between October 15, 2025 - December 31, 2025 to qualify for the $50 gift card reward. Eligibility for the $50 gift card reward for the referrer and the referred friend is contingent upon the approval of the referred friend’s application and/or meeting of FedChoice Federal Credit Union’s underwriting requirements. Each referral’s actions are subject to approval and verification by FedChoice Federal Credit Union for eligibility.

Eligible Referral Actions: To qualify for the $50 gift card incentive, the referred friend must complete the eligible referral action below between October 15, 2025 - December 31, 2025.

*New Checking Account: To qualify for the promotion incentive, the referred friend must set up a new FedChoice Federal Credit Union checking or debit account and make fifteen (15) or more transactions of $10 or more on the newly opened checking account between October 15, 2025 - December 31, 2025. Transactions are defined as a deposit, withdrawal or a debit card transaction of $10 or more. Transactions must settle and post to the account by December 31, 2025, to qualify. Account opening and purchases will be tallied by FedChoice Federal Credit Union. Referred friend is eligible for a new checking account if membership eligibility and qualifying criteria is met. Checking account is subject to account opening requirements. The accountholder and the referred friend are each eligible for one $50 gift card if qualifying criteria is met.

**Gift Card Redemption: By completing a qualified referral, selected FedChoice Federal Credit Union accountholder and the referred friend will receive a $50 gift card redemption link. The promotion redemption instructions will be issued and sent by mail within 4-6 weeks following the conclusion of the offer period (December 31, 2025). The gift card redemption link will expire 75 days from issuance. One redemption code equals one $50 gift card.

Restrictions: Referrers cannot refer themselves or create multiple, fictitious or fake accounts with the company or participate in the program as "friends". No user may use the program to violate any law, infringe or violate the rights of any third party, or otherwise act in a manner that is deemed harassing, harmful, illegal, hateful, obscene or outside the spirit and intent of the program. In addition, you may not (i) tamper with the program, (ii) act in an unfair or disruptive manner, or (iii) use any system, bot or other device or artifice to participate or receive any benefit in the program. Caution: any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the program may be in violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the company reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney fees) to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.

Anti-Spam Policies: In adherence to our anti-spam policy, please be aware that the email inviting the referred friend to join FedChoice Federal Credit Union will be sent by a third party on behalf of the referrer. FedChoice Federal Credit Union strictly prohibits the use of unsolicited or unauthorized emails in our Refer-a-Friend program. By submitting an email address as part of the Refer-a-Friend Program, the Referrer represents that they have the appropriate permission and consent. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other use of the services in a manner that is not promoted is expressly prohibited and may be grounds for legal action. Participation implies a commitment to promoting FedChoice Federal Credit Union’s services responsibly, and any violation of our anti-spam policy may result in the disqualification from the program and potential legal consequences.

Right to Cancel, Modify or Terminate: FedChoice Federal Credit Union reserves the right to modify or terminate the Referral Program at any time. FedChoice Federal Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify any selected accountholder at any time from participation in the Program if the accountholder does not comply with any of these Terms.

By participating in FedChoice Federal Credit Union Refer-a-Friend Program, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Participation in FedChoice Federal Credit Union Refer-a-Friend program is voluntary. FedChoice Federal Credit Union reserves the right to interpret and enforce these terms and conditions.
